An unexpected Linux kernel error in one of our production servers caused our services performance to degrade. While investigating the cause of the performance issue all services became inaccessible.
After identifying the cause of the issue, we restarted the affected server. We issued a kernel bug report and a revert to the previous running version of the Linux kernel will be scheduled.
We will keep monitoring the affected server and post any status updates on the issue.
